Scheduling SMS & Multiple Email Accounts
This edition we've got tips ranging from scheduling your SMS messages to how to deal with multiple Gmail accounts. And should you be worried if you're a free LastPass user?
LastPass Limiting Free Plan
I’m a big LastPass fan and have them listed on my recommended resources page. The company earned a bit of bad press when it announced changes to its free plan. Even with these changes, the free plan is still valuable. It just means you have to stick to one device type like computers or phones. For example, I can use it across my desktop and notebook. But I couldn’t also use it on my phone. The company’s announcement is below.

If you decide to leave, I’d suggest using a service like G2 to find alternatives.

Easy Text Manipulation
Somehow that title sounds painful, but it’s not meant to be. In fact, the site allows you to do all sorts of things like find and replace text, combine lines, etc. Some of the same stuff I’ve done with Excel, except you don’t need Excel.
Hat tip: Paul supplied this tip from Vershd. He has a very cool Git Gui program if you’re a developer.
Got a Great Idea..but Can’t Code
Have you ever wanted to build an app but didn’t pursue it because you don’t know how to code? While watching a LinkedIn Learning tutorial, I heard about Bubble.io. It seems pretty impressive and also has a free plan. It’s part of the “no-code movement.”
You can see some of the diverse ideas people have produced: https://bubble.io/showcase
And if you haven’t tried LinkedIn Learning, they offer a risk-free 30-day trial.
Note: I am a LinkedIn affiliate, so if you do purchase, I may earn a small commission, but that doesn’t affect your price.
Using Multiple Gmail Accounts
Most people I know who use Gmail have multiple accounts. However, they haven’t figured out the best way to work with them. This tutorial by Kinsta shows how to have multiple accounts feed into one inbox.

Scheduling SMS Messages
This tip from How to Geek seems very useful if you have an Android phone and use the Google Messages app. It does not work on the PC version.

If you’re an iPhone user, you will need a 3rd party app.

Time-Blocking Not Working?
The issue I’ve seen with various productivity techniques is that one size doesn’t fit all. Or, at least, I haven’t seen that to be the case. So, if time blocking hasn’t been as effective as you’d like, try these simple suggestions from Make Use Of.

Emojis Shortcuts
I was listening to a podcast last night about web components. The author mentioned that few people know that their operating system includes an emoji picker.
For Windows, press the Windows key + . (period).
For Mac, press Command + Control + space
I guess I should update my Special Characters & Symbols tutorial.
